We are Buddha’s Light Publications, formerly Buddha’s Light Publishing. We sell books pertaining to the Humanistic Buddhist school of Fo Guang Shan as well as Humanistic Buddhist commentaries on classical sutras. We also offer a wide range of books for younger practitioners.
Humanistic Buddhism is a Buddhism that is engaged in interacting with the lay sangha and with non-Buddhists in a positive and constructive manner. The Fo Guang Shan Movement was created by Venerable Master Hsing Yun as a Buddhist answer to the ever-changing world around us. The texts we offer are detailing a Humanistic Buddhist way of living in the world while cultivating our own Buddha Natures.
